Almudena Fajardo is growing a reputation as a player to watch out for.

The Spanish ace shot to prominence in the final months of 2022, reaching the finals of the ladies singles in the WDF Europe Cup and World Masters.

Fajardo was beaten by ladies number one Beau Greaves in the final on both occasions, but she has continued to progress and won through the qualifiers to book a spot in the WDF World Championships.

She will make history at Lakeside as the first Spaniard to compete in the Women’s World Championship when the tournament takes place in December 2023.
